I've just started getting involved in cracking and have done a few crackmes. i thought the best place to practice was real programs. I decided to start trying to crack a Fortnite cheat my friend used but I've got stuck. I've got to the point where I'm trying to patch the file after changing some JNZ's to JMP using dbgx64 but it ends up saying 0/7 patches applied. I read online it was because there was no raw data or something, so I assume that means the exe is writing to another file (maybe a .dll but I cant find one in the process tree on process hacker)? and therefore the code isn't there when its started. not 100% sure though and was looking for anyone to help me out. the window that opens after opening the .exe does have a different title to the .exe which changes every time but its still running as the .exe its not bringing in a new .exe.
