Help with downloading a software for MacOS

I tried to download a software from an unspecified website, but when I got to the step with the keygen it didn't seem compatible with the version of the software I had downloaded (v2024 of software, v2019 keygen). Also some of the steps in the instructions seemed outdated, for example, wrong name on some of the folders I had to tamper with. Any tips would be helpful and personal help would be phenomenal.
