It really depends on your preferences. An iphone would be good cause it's normally less prone to malware. An android phone has more apps in the play store. I have used both(i've used an ipad & and have a smartphone) and i think android is better.

iphone is best and none of other company beat iphon
evan all others are copying iphone functions to their mobiles
so personaly i am using iphone and i am satisfied to it
but recently apple company exposed that they put their iphone battery life very short (limited around one year or one an half year) and after that
you need to buy new model of iphone
