I was recommended Kodi by a friend recently. And I like all the apps, found streaming apps for sports and movies. I also got sites such as Viaplay, Cmore, Netflix, HBO working but ofc I need premium accounts for those lol. However, I'm trying to get IPTV working. I'm using PVR IPTV Simple Client and have done and checked several youtube guides and got it working at times. But way to often Kodi get stuck loading pvr client and the channels even after 10 minutes it's stuck at 0%. I have Window 10, 8gb RAM and AMD A10-7300 APU as my media computer which should be enough, but still Kodi freezes and crash quiet often. So if there's a great alternative to Kodi or a simple fix I would be very happy to hear about it. I'm done using google (spent 40 hours+ trying to get apps working, looking for m3u lists and getting fixes for the above issue) right now.
