Program used to simulate server communication (record&play packets in loop)

Hello I am new here. I'd like to ask you about name of program used to recording communication between application and license server. I had such program once but it was far ago and I can't find nothing similiar (except Wireshark etc). It allowed to record packets/communication and then switch itselft to simulate license server sending recorded packets back allowing us to use trial applications without valid license/connection.
