Hey guys,
CrappyProgrammer here. I don't even remember how I got here but I'm glad I did, looks like a nice and fun place to learn and also have a laugh or two. I've spent pretty much all my working years developing desktop applications and know next to nothing about web development really, not to even mention the cloud stuff. But some time ago I was bored at home going to random sites and wherever they took me in their links section and stuff. At some point I thought 'what if I modify the HTML or JS of this page and then submit it'? to my surprise I found myself saying out loud 'wow this site's security is shit!' cause I was able to bypass it just by modifying some of the HTML and resending the form and been trying out stuff since then as a hobby whenever I have some spare time and I've ran out of beer. I don't intend to do any malicious shit with this anyhow, but it was really surprising to me that even some not-so-small websites had such basic vulnerabilities that even CrappyProgrammer was able to bypass their so called 'security'.
Well, that's about it. Looking forward to learn some fun stuff here and orry for the long and boring post.
Cherrs,
