It's a pleasure to meet you all. For those of you who are familiar with the Police Quest series by Sierra, the old text style adventure games, you will recognize my alias and hopefully it will trigger some good old memories and get all that grey matter at the back of your brain moving again after 30+ years of stagnation.
If there are any fans of the old Sierra games, I really wish to talk to you and get to know you as I am fascinated to hear other peoples experiences playing the games and get their opinions on how gaming has changed so much in the last, well, 30+ years. I'm not talking just graphics, I'm talking the culture, methodology and how the whole carrot-and-stick dopamine hit-rate has monopolized all AAA-Title games.
Must we really solely on the indie games? Or hold our breath, cross our fingers and pray that VR will cause complete social disorder and cause our civillization to experience a hard take-off singularity into the cosmos and grant us our salvation.
