I would not be too worried about it all. Amazon have so many people doing refunds that they do not really have the time or inclination to bring law enforcement into the mix. They seem happy with just banning accounts etc. Their CIS department have never followed up on any of my mutiple account bans.
Having said all that, I am in the UK so your experience may vary but would have though Amazon would apply consistent policies worldwide.
