Normally for quick analysis I used virus total, obviously it was not the only thing that guided me, since virus total tends to be very wrong sometimes, however I also performed manual tests. Some time ago I was recommended Malcore and the truth is very good tool, it facilitates me more analysis, besides you can decide whether to make public your analysis or not, if you work with confidential files that option is great, in general for me is better than total virus in some respects, you can search as 'app malcore' on the internet and you get the result at the touch, I hope it helps, good luck!
