So I'm a university student who is required to use Maple math software to successfully complete my Math for Economics course. Due to Pandemic, It was far too complicated to access university computers and connect the software to my laptop. So I went and got a full version of Maple 2020 directly from a youtube channel instead.
Earlier this January, I installed Maple 2020 that worked fine on my laptop (Windows 7) until two weeks ago when it suddenly started closing itself every time I tried opening it (I see the opening loading bar which progresses a bit but than suddenly closes). I tried uninstalling it, reinstalling it and doing a system restore in case any such update occurred on my laptop that is now preventing Maple from functioning. Unfortunately nothing has worked so far. I tried everything posted in
I went and got Maple 2018 and tried that as well, but it has problems with license recognition and its all giving me a real headache.
Have the developers installed something in my registry that is causing this to happen? Things don't just stop working for no reason like that and it would be really bullshit if this is the case.
