Implemented Monthly Challenge

There needs to be some life in the forum.
I think these challenges will motivate users and make it fun.


A monthly challenge
Example: The user who talks the most in shoutbox gets something like their name displayed somewhere

Example: Person who posts the most topics wins VIP for 5 days or something

Well what to say. There can be a whole bunch of monthly challenges and also you can add a whole bunch of prizes, badges, awards. There are two issues here.

The first one would be technical part. To create graphics and write down the script or find a working plugin or whatever is necessary to make this work.

The second would be that this needs to be seriously prepared and seriously imported to the forum. If the forum Staff would be creating something just because of trying to make some change and without a clear goal what do they want to achieve by creating monthly challenges (or whatever else they will be called) than would be better not to waste time on this. It won't make any big change.

Personally, I think all the challenges, rewards or badges are very good for motivating members so I can give my vouch for the idea. However, as I said, if it is not going to be well planned and imported, better don't do it.

Yes obviously staff need to be dedicated to this if they do implement this. With further support from more members I feel they will answer to the community.
