Honestly I don't even see the point in consoles anymore, everything is so much better on PC. But If it's something that you want, I'd say wait about 4 months after the ps5 comes out. never get it when it first comes out

If you can wait for PS5... wait for it. Just think to buy a new ps4 console only if you want SO MUCH to play a special game <3.
I must say I am a playstation guy however my latest system is the PS3. I am starting to prefer a PC to a console system since with a good enough PC all you need to do is upgrade your GPU to stay playing the new stuff. I have not read about the PS5 yet but take a look at the Xbox. You have the Xbox one and then the One S and now the One X. All with in a short period of time and all they did was change the GPU. I do understand that there are some Console only games like Uncharted and The Last of Us, which I miss very much. I would love to play The Last of Us on a PS4 and its sequels on the PS5.
