Should one use a VPN using a netflix/spotify bought account ?

When an account has been bought online (that account being found thanks to sentry for example), should the buyer use a VPN in case the owner find out that somebody uses its account and alerts the service ?

The real question here is, do services give your IP to authorities and should you care about your IP being given only if you use an account that is not yours ?

Over a netflix account, I really doubt you will get into any big trouble. But using a VPN to stay safe is always fine.

I wouldn't worry about Authorities with something like using a Netflix account. So long as you appear to be in the same country it should work as far as the account not getting blocked.
So if you're in France but trying to use an account from the USA, you should throw on a VPN.

But generally speaking, yes you should always stay try to stay anon and keep that VPN on!
