So...a shooting happened near my town

I know that this may be a bit late but a town like twenty miles away from where I live just got shot up recently. It's been really bothering me given the fact that I have a week left of school and this is already happening. They've started increasing police presence at my school also. So, it kinda sucks but it's not the worst. My mom is thinking about homeschooling me as well.

So, I have a question for you international guys, what's your stance on this issue?
