Are you a fan of Star Wars?
Have you heard any interesting theories regarding 'The Last Jedi'?
*MIGHT BE A SPOILER- WARNING*
There's something that many youtubers have spoken about regarding the upcoming sequel to 'The Force Awakens". Something that keeps making more and more sense as we approach the next film is the continuous mention of "The Journal Of The Whills". The reason this single relic is important is because it can be something that Luke shows Rey. Why would he show her something like that and what exactly is it?
He may know more about who she is and what kind of ancestral bloodline she's from. Check out this definition of the Ancient Order of The Whills below:

Okay,
That's cool, but where does Rey come in? A lot of people believe that the reason Luke seems so frustrated towards the ending of 'The Force Awakens' is not necessarily because he sensed Leia's death, but because he's been this way for a long time. You see, in order to understand what he might be going through; you may have to consider picturing the Jedi as overly positive wielders of the force and the Sith overly negative wielders of the force. There's a possibility that Luke understands that there shouldn't be any more "Jedi". Making the name for the upcoming movie, 'The Last Jedi'. What can make him come to this conclusion? That's when "The Journal Of The Whills" comes in.
"First comes the day
Then comes the night.
After the darkness
Shines through the light.
The difference, they say,
Is only made right
By the resolving of gray
Through refined Jedi sight."
―Journal of the Whills, 7:477
Resolving of the GRAY. Not the day, not the night, but the GRAY through REFINED JEDI SIGHT. So, it's an understanding of BALANCE in the force. As a matter of fact, according to George Lucas; he originally wanted to introduce all of this in the original trilogy, but he eventually decided to exclude this stuff. At some point in time, the ancient Jedi who might even be from that exact temple we're all assuming Luke trains Rey in, understood the balance to the force. These ancient Jedi used to send people who were overly good or overly bad to different moons to meditate and find balance. Until then, they wouldn't be able to return to their home planet.
(Okay, I'm a Star Wars fan and I'm trying to meet my prerequisites so I figured I'd let some of you in to what I think could be a pretty solid sounding theory.)
