Unzipping packs and WD freaks out

Hey Crackers,

I've been intrigued by cracking for a long time but never actually got around to learning about it.
I'm sandboxing in a VM all the tools I download and get from here. But, I'm just wondering if there's a trick to unzipping hack packs or I just kill WD?
Basically, WD notifies me of threats in the temp files while unzipping and removes them immediately. Not being to certain if this is normal, I let it get removed.

• By experience, are these packs infested with malware intended for the pack downloader?
• Is there a way to unzip them one by one or another safer method?
• A certain scan I can perform or threats I should consider while others that are normal?
• Should I just disable WD and cross my fingers?
• Or should I just fuckoff with my noob question?
