Hydra has been pretty helpful to me, but I know there are many other distros you can download. Anything better for wifi cracking?

Hydra is a good tool but I prefer to use Aircrack-ng , and complement it with reaver , Fern WiFi Cracker :sneaky:

My current go to's in the last few projects have DEFINITELY been JADX, integrated with the very useful and robust rule and script database of quark engine. like you literally have to use those two in tandem, if you are thorough and you are not fluent in jscript or the many obfuscation tactics used by developers. a nice combo of nginx/nmap/wireshark blended with burpsuite and its unique modified web browser, and maybe apache if youre good with mitm, id say this group is formidable when all used within the scope of one project. who remembers SOFTICE tho? in my younger novice days i won many quake matches with the low level invisibility of that debugger. hell i even forgot it was running along side the kernel many times, often coming up on a treasure trove of log files after a week of non stop debugging lol

check out blach arch's distro. be advised the nickname for that distro is asshole linux, or the git gud gank over at their meticulous wiki in which if you dont have at least five years experience outside of easy to use distros like kali or ubuntu, the community will have your hide for ANY query imposed and i mean any question. its like 2005 gentoo on steroids but if you can get the hang of pac-man (package manager) early on and actually make it through the installation and config of it all then imo its definitely in the top three of any facet in regards to black white or grey caps. there are damn near 1300 packages out the gate many unique to the arch linux family, and everything just fucking WORKS, anything you use in kali, use on blacj arch it runs better often with more features man. i keep liveusb with me constantly just because of the broad coverage of every need i may have in thhe moment being covered. just remember the volatile community will either make you scoff and laugh, or make you pissed and question your worth as a person just for not reading the wiki before you asked a question in the forum lmao.

agree with comment above, but i downloaded some pack with most used tools and thats enough
