up to me its Demonoid, it was a very popular and trusted place to get files and stay informed on which torrents to avoid.

demonoid is whackkk half the files are infected. it was great like 4 years ago. Best torrent sites depends on what you are looking to torrent:

books - bibliotik.me, myanonymouse
general - iptorrents, torrentleech, filelist.ro
programming lessons - bitme.org, bitspyder, elbitz

assets - sitedev.club, cgpeers, tehparadox
business - biztorrents
movies - hd-torrents.org
mac - brokenstones.club (incredible)

There are more I'm forgetting but off the top of my head, if you get those - you're gonna have a good time.
