Hey hey Cracking Core,

Just curious to know if anyone is still using torrents to download, because I see a lot of info on upload sites here, and maybe I missed that transition lol

If you are a person who still uses torrents, any suggestion on a VPN to use? I have been searching around and see a few that look good. BTguard, and Torguard in particular.

Also, if you can point me in the right direction/forum topic on how to obtain a username and password for these sites, I would greatly appreciate it.

I was searching around and am not 100% on whether these sites are different to crack. What tools would you suggest that have worked for you?

any help would be great, and I will share what I come up with.

Thank you in advance everyone who shares.

Peace

I use PrivateInternetAccess.

Whichever you go with, make sure it passes a DNS Leak test, else it's pointless.

would vpnium be ok to use with utorrent or bittorrent? would you just have to run it through that server?

There are sites which help u download torrent files for free & then u can download them as http.

If u don't mind paying for better service , put.io is another great site

momo:

so by uploading the torrent file to the website, and then downloading it as an http, is that supposed to be more secure, or faster? what is the advantage???

In this way you don't have to on your PC while downloading especially those unpopular torrent, downloading can take very long due to less seeders etc . You can just submit the torrent, off your PC and let the website download for you. Most of them will also send an email to notify you when download completed. If someone before you had submitted the same torrent & download already completed, you can just download the file from the website server immediately without waiting. It save me time & effort while downloading from the site is very fast for me. In addition you don't have to install any bitorrent client.

Personally, I don't use a VPN while running torrents. However, I purely leach, as the most bandwidth is consumed when seeding, which is what flags your ISP that you're engaging in potentially illegal behavior and requires them to report the massive bandwidth usage.

A combination of PeerBlock and adjusting uTorrent to only allow 1kb upload rate for 1 leecher has been pretty successful so far.

I couldn't personally recommend any VPNs.
