Why do people hack amazon accounts?

Maybe I'm missing something here.. and I've never used amazon but do people do it to order stuff for themselves? I mean wouldn't the original owner of the account literally have your address and stuff? Someone please explain because it's one of the most common things I see on cracking forums... Thanks!

as far as i concerned , the majority of them use vps or vpn but the ip must be in the same country of the real owner then they do shopping without any suspicious .
and they might be caught if the owner recognized and reported that and the hacker would face sanctions
