There are two different proxy types to choose from when you want to run your browser through a proxy server. One is a web proxy, which is basically a website and needs little to no configuration, and the other one is a public proxy or a private one, which needs a few of your browser proxy settings configured to work. This is the one we are going to talk about in this article.
First you need to check what is the name of the browser you are going to use. Most people use either Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer or Opera. Below you will find a short guide for each of these four browsers and how to set up your browser’s proxy server.

You must reply to see the hidden content. Consider upgrading your account to increase your reply limit.

And that is all. If you followed our little step-by-step guide above, you now should have successfully configured your browser’s proxy server and are surfing safely and anonymously. If all this was too confusing for you, then I suggest you use a web proxy server, which usually needs no configuration at all, and all you have to do is enter the website you want to visit and off you go.
