Suggestion Contests idea

I have idea that forums should run more contests.Like Member Of The Month,Upgrading contests,Poster Of MOnth etc,
Of course Poster of Month is not,who should make more spam posts,but quality.
Otherwise it seems like forum is dying slowly.Because not many really new threads and only selling threads are new.
