Stop saying thanks and post feedback/comment on what you downloaded

Just felt like saying this as no one posts back if whatever posted by OP is worth downloading or if its shit. I know i haven't posted much but i have not been here long, this place would be better if people actually talked about the product or whatever is posted. Rather than seeing 20+ plus pages of thanks only..
Most people don't even give the OP a like for whatever they have contributed.

ya , if users atleast post whether the account they tried is not working, others wont keep posting in that thread n keep it in page 1.

I agree that its usefull to post some feedback, but here are 2 reasons why it wont work.

1. People normally reply without looking at other comments
2. People might think about it, and forget since they are doing many things at the same time [like me :P]

We're not saying they MUST give feedback, but rather than the thread being spammed with lots of thanks, people can look at feedback by the few that do leave some before bumping old dead threads.

Yes, but only usefull "if" the actually read the comments.

I always look for comments on the product im after but all i see is thanks. Get rid of the hide thing. I know its there to stop leechers but its a headache to see "thanks", i would rather see "don't bother wasting your time" or "Great stuff op it worked perfectly"

If it works or is useful then I try to hit like, if its not working I report it, and if its no use to me I leave it be. It would be nice if more reported non working accounts and the like, but thats leechers for you.
