In March of 2023, the online health insurance marketplace Health Link for members of U.S. Congress and residents of Washington D.C. was breached, revealing the personal information of <55,000 users. This data included Social Security Numbers, full names, date of birthes, home addresses, home email accounts, work email accounts, phone numbers, race, ethnicity, citizenship status and more. Users of this service include government staffers, politicians, members of U.S. Congress and Senate as well as others.
